Our path is defined by continuous innovation and responsible growth.

1988

As early as 1988, we offered shipping services for express and international mail under the name TNT Skypak (now TNT / FedEx).

2000s

Spring Global Mail was founded in 2001 as a joint venture between three internationally active postal companies: the Dutch PostNL, the British Royal Mail, and Singapore Post. The company's focus was on international mail delivery, offered through a global network of around 50 offices and approximately 1,000 employees.

The joint venture was dissolved in 2013. Since then, Spring Globalmail has operated as a wholly-owned subsidiary of PostNL.

1990s

Over the years, we became part of the network of the Dutch Post (PostNL / TNT Express), which has significantly shaped us with its innovative strength and international expertise.

2015

In 2015, several national organisations were spun off as part of a management buyout, and Global Mail was born. We used this phase to develop into a fully-fledged logistics service provider in the e-commerce sector.

2026

Global Mail becomes GM Logistics. With this rebranding, we are sharpening our focus and consistently evolving into a modern logistics partner for e-commerce and fulfillment. In addition to mail and parcel shipping, our future focus will lie particularly on warehousing, pick & pack, customized packaging, system integrations, and returns management.

Our main warehouse offers 2,500 pallet spaces, supplemented by three external facilities with 1,000 pallet spaces in Vienna, 400 in Lower Austria, and 1,500 at the Schachinger slow-mover hub. This provides a total capacity of 5,400 pallet spaces across four locations.
